Who we are
One is a Chrome extension (“One”, “we”, “us”) that combines a media and page downloader, an ad blocker, translation, summaries, a dictionary and a clipboard history. You can contact us at support@oneextension.app.
What One stores on your device
These stay in your browser’s extension storage and are not sent to us:
- Your settings, theme and wallpaper, including a photo you choose.
- Your download history (file names and the page addresses they came from).
- Your clipboard history, if you use it. It records text you copy on web pages, never from password fields, and you can pause it or delete items at any time.
- Your blocked-request counts, your own block list and the sites where you turned the ad blocker off.
- Your license key and plan, if you have a paid plan.
Removing the extension deletes this data.
What One reads on web pages
To work, One needs access to the pages you visit. It uses this access only for the features you turn on, and it processes everything on your device:
- Download: sees which video, music and file requests a page makes, so it can offer them. It joins video and sound, converts formats and builds PDFs on your device.
- Adblock: blocks and hides ad and tracker content using lists stored in the extension.
- Translate, Summary and the highlight button: read the text you select or ask to be processed. Translating and summarizing run on your device when Chrome supports it.
- Clipboard history: reads what you copy on a page, as described above.
We do not collect, store or send your browsing history or the content of the pages you view.
When One contacts other services

These services have their own privacy policies. We do not send them anything else.
Payments and licenses
Payments for Plus and Pro are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. When you subscribe, we keep the email address you gave Stripe, your plan, your license key and the status of your subscription so we can email your key and keep your plan working. We send your license key by email through Resend. Our license server and hosting are provided by Cloudflare, which may keep short-term technical logs (such as IP addresses) to run and secure the service.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent or share your personal data for advertising.
- We do not use analytics or tracking in the extension.
- We do not use your data for anything unrelated to the features above, and we do not use it to judge creditworthiness or for lending.
Permissions, in plain words
The extension asks for access to all sites because it needs to find media, block ads and offer its tools on whatever page you are on. The “debugger” permission is used only to print the page you are on to a PDF when you click Save as PDF. It attaches for a moment and then detaches, and is not used to inspect or change pages, or to read anything you do not ask it to save.
Your choices
- Turn features off in One’s settings, pause clipboard history or turn off the ad blocker for a site at any time.
- Delete clipboard and download history inside the extension.
- To delete the information we hold about your subscription, or to ask what we hold, email us at support@oneextension.app.
Children
One is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date above, and if the change is significant we will tell you in the extension or on this page.
